This is an amazing piece created by the Dominican designer Joarla Caridad.
Using this fossilized dominican resin known as Amber that was specially handmade by Dominican artisans, using Dominican and precious metals to create this exceptional art piece. This piece has between 15 and 23 million years old and was developed from the hardened resin of the hymenea protera, a now extinct tree. The small organisms it may contain were trapped in the resin and embalmed, which can be appreciated through the naked eye, they are therefore genuine fossils dating from the Miocene geological era.
